Ideas That Matter

Have a thought that could make life better in our community? Tell us. We’re gathering ideas from residents, youth, and neighbors across Wichita to shape real action—together.

This takes ~5–10 minutes. Your voice matters. The input we collect will be shared back with the community, used to guide real action, and shape programs that impact lives in Wichita.

What we're collecting

We’re looking for ideas that:

  • Support youth development and healthy decision-making

  • Strengthen families and caregivers

  • Improve community well-being and connections

  • Build capacity for local organizations

  • Expand access to needed services (mental health, mentoring, housing support, etc.)

  • Create new collaborations across schools, nonprofits, businesses, and faith communities

Whether it’s a new program you’d love to see, improvements to existing services, or ways for organizations to work better together—your voice matters.

How your input will be used

1. We'll collect and review every idea.

2. Ideas will be sorted by topic and shared back with the community.

3. Local partners and residents will help decide what to prioritize.

4. We'll explore ways to support or pilot the most promising ideas.

We promise: your ideas will not sit on a shelf - they'll guide real action in Wichita.

Share you idea

We’d love to hear your ideas about how to provide inclusive and effective programming to all Wichitans
